What a card may — and may not — say

Location must be public and coarse

A card may name a city or region only when the platform supplies a public geotag or the author explicitly names the place. Unknown locations are not published as cards or mapped.

• No home, school or workplace addresses.
• No hidden coordinates, EXIF extraction or landmark-based geolocation.
• No claim that a keyword proves someone is physically there.
• No private, deleted, login-protected or workaround-accessed content.

Family-safe and short-lived

Adapters use documented public APIs, supported oEmbed or manually curated links. Items are source-allowlisted, deduplicated, moderated and expire within 48 hours. There are no comments, accounts or autoplay videos on WeatherChart.

Forecast context is not fact-checking

A comparison may note whether cached forecast values align with weather words in a post. It does not alter the post or certify that the account’s observation is true.
